Going through the process of extending my train season ticket was one of my monthly annoyances. Unless you need one of the standard tickets it isn't always obvious where to look and the UI doesn't exactly look up-to-date or in line with the app/website. That's why I decided to give it bit of a rework. After analysing the current design of the SNCB, comparing it to the machines of other railway companies, asking people what their problems were (survey and in person)... I put together some wireframes and proceeded to test them with some users.
After some iterations I ended up with the above. Overall a fun and useful exercise.
